Job Title: Associate Production Welder
Pay Rate: Dependant upon level of entry.

A/P Welder 5 - $10.61
A/P Welder 4 - $11.58

A/P Welder 3 - $12.55
A/P Welder 2 - $13.51
A/P Welder 1 - $14.48
Prod Welder - $16.09
Location: 3200 6th Avenue South, Seattle, WA.
Hours of Work: Could be day Shift 6:30am to 3:00pm or second Shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
Representation: After 30 days, required to become a dues paying or financial core member of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Local Union No. 104.


Job Summary:

Will learn to operate various semi-automatic welding machines. May learn to operate computerized burning table. Extensive material handling. Tack welding sheets.

Requirements to be Considered for this Position:

  5. Willing to comply with company rules and policies.
  6. Pass pre-employment drug screen.

Required Essential Job Skills/Experience:

  1. Able to read tape measure accurately to 1/16"
  2. Certificate from a welding program which includes TIG welding and/or 1 or more recent years of welding experience, including TIG welding.
  3. Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  4. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, up to 100 lbs. occasionally.

Required Equipment (employee provided):

  1. Welding hood.
  2. Welding gloves.
  3. Safety shoes.

Required Essential Job Functions/Duties:

  1. Will be trained to operate semi-automatic TIG welding machines.
  2. Will learn to operate computerized burning table.
  3. Tack welding skills.
  4. Pull stock primarily with the aid of forklifts and overhead cranes to bring to appropriate machinery for processing.
  5. Other duties as needed.

Desirable Job Skills/Experience:

  1. Able to operate a forklift and pendant operated overhead crane.
  2. Non-smoker preferred.
